HKETO Brussels and InvestHK host reception in Cascais, Portugal

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels, together with InvestHK, hosted a reception in Cascais, Portugal on 3 September 2021 to strengthen Hong Kong-Portugal economic ties. The event was organised for the local business community and government officials, with the support of the Portugal-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Speaking at the reception, a representative of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels highlighted Hong Kong as the gateway to tap business opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Moreover, with a vibrant innovation and technology community and the Government's supporting policies, Hong Kong would be a perfect testing ground for international business collaboration and for start-ups. Guests were encouraged to explore this Asia's world city, its rich cultural life has also made Hong Kong an attractive place to live, to work and to study.
