The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels (HKETO, Brussels) and Create Hong Kong are jointly supporting the 55th Sitges –International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, being held in Sitges in Spain on 6-16 October 2022.
The Festival is screening a total of six Hong Kong productions or co-productions, three of which were made in 2022:

HKETO, Brussels hosted a reception on 9 October to promote the Hong Kong productions to media representatives and film industry professionals.
In her welcoming remarks to the audience, Deputy Representative of HKETO, Brussels, Miss Grace Li, noted that films not only entertained and inspired people, but could also connect different cultures. She said the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government was committed to supporting Hong Kong film talents and the industry, and had been actively bringing Hong Kong productions to film festivals around the world.
Highlighting Hong Kong's role as an East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchanges, further enhanced by the opening of the M+ museum and the Hong Kong Palace Museum, she encouraged audience members to visit Hong Kong and experience the city's vibrant culture.
