Come and see the light installation of Chi-yung WONG during the IMPACT Festival in Liège, Belgium from Nov 3 - Jan 15 at the Théâtre de Liège For the second time, Chi-yung Wong participates in Liège. This time his creation is called "The Tides of Time". It is a scenographic work inspired by the poem "The Tide Rises, the Tide Falls" by American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Wong uses the natural ebb and flow of tides to reflect on the delicate balance between life's eternal cycles and its fleeting moments. Wong's installation masterfully employs delicate threads to represent human connections, revealed through an exquisite interplay of light, sound, music, and space.
In this video, Chi-Yung Wong thanked the organisers and supporting organisations: "I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels and the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau of Hong Kong for their support, which has made it possible to bring this art installation here in Liège to life. Their dedication to showcasing Hong Kong's talents and the city's unique role as a bridge between East and West has provided a valuable platform for sharing Hong Kong's creative work with new audiences. I'm truly honored to have their support." The Tides of Time.mp4
