On April 1, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), HKETO Brussels had the opportunity to visit Bordeaux, France, to promote the thriving wine and liquor trade in Hong Kong.
The visit featured two key highlights:
- A media briefing, where insights were shared into Hong Kong's economic outlook and its position as a dynamic hub for the wine and liquor industry.
- A roundtable discussion and networking lunch with key industry players, producers from various French regions, and members of the media.
During these sessions, we highlighted the many advantages of trading in Hong Kong, including the city's zero-wine-duty policy and the recent reduction in liquor duty. These initiatives continue to strengthen Hong Kong's appeal as a key gateway for wine and spirits trade in Asia.
