The first Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX), organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and funded by the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, will be staged next year from 14 to 18 October 2024.
HKPAX's aims are:
During the five-day HKPAX, participants will experience a diverse array of exciting programmes. These will include Expo Programmes presented by major performing arts groups in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Arts Festival, West Kowloon Cultural District and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
Global application for two of the programmes – 'International Showcases'; and 'Pitch Sessions'; is open, calling for proposals from artists and organisations from around the world to take part in this significant milestone of the region's arts and cultural scene.
