Hong Kong No. 5 in the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2024

Hong Kong jumped two places to rank No. 5 globally in the latest IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2024.

The city topped the rankings in sub-factors of "International trade" and "Business legislation". The findings recognise Hong Kong as one of the most competitive economies in the world and attest to its strong post-pandemic recovery.
