Cargo flies high at Hong Kong International Airport

Hong Kong International Airport took the number one spot in the Airports Council International World 2024 ranking of the world's busiest cargo airports – a ranking the airport has maintained for the 14th time since 2010. HKIA handled 4.9 million tonnes of cargo during the year. Alongside the commissioning of the Three-runway System, the airport has also established new cargo handling facilities.
